Abstract Submission
Instructions for the Preparation of Abstracts
All abstracts must be prepared according to the following instructions. Abstracts that do not comply with the guidelines will be returned to the author for correction before they enter the reviewing process.
- The abstract must be written in English and should be brief and concise.
- The abstract should have a size of 17.0 cm (width) and 12.0 cm (height) and should not include figures, tables or references.
- The maximum length of the body of the text may not exceed 250 words (or 2000 characters including spaces).
- Single line spacing must be used throughout.
- The title should be short and informative, with a maximum length of two lines. It should be written in bold letters, with a font size of 12 pt. A blank line with font size 11 pt should be left between the title and the author(s) names.
- The names of the author(s) should be written in italic letters with a font size of 11 pt; please underline the name of the presenting author. Do not leave a blank line between the author(s) names and the name(s) of the institution(s).
- The name(s) of the institution(s), with the address and email address for correspondence, city and country, must be typed in normal letters with a font size of 11 pt. The names of the institutions and addresses should be numbered with numerical superscripts referring to the authors with similar numerical superscripts. A blank line with font size 11 pt should be left between the address(es) and the body text.
- Times New Roman font size 11 pt must be used for the body of the abstract.
- The abstract should be as concise as possible, including the aim of the work, methods, main results and a conclusion. Avoid phrases like "...results will be presented...".
- All abstracts have to be submitted electronically together with the completed abstract submission form.
SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
You will receive an electronic receipt confirmation indicating that your abstract has been submitted. The receipt will include an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence.

PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
Oral presentations:
It is recommended to prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Please bring a copy of your presentation on CD or memory stick (flash drive) only to the Speaker Room to load your presentation at least a day prior to presenting.
Poster presentations:
Poster sessions will be grouped by topic. Posters should be size A0 in portrait orientation, and illustrations and text should be able to be read from a distance of at least 2 m. The poster should be clear and concise, and understandable without explanation. Poster presenters are personally responsible for affixing and removing their posters. Participants are requested to put up their posters in their allocated spots before or during registration in the poster venue. Drawing pins or thumb tacks will be provided to attach your poster to the poster board.
